I am 75 years old gentleman. I had sustained a fall in 1964 from a height of some 35 feets and was moved to a hospital in an unconscious state thus; I was in hospital for about 2 days when I regained consciousness I wanted to go home with my penis bleeding and not being treated for it.
I could only urinate in a very very thin small stream and at times by drops and at nights I had to wake up every 2 or 2 and half hours to urinate. Thus, having an impact on my health and swelling of my feet When I wanted to urinate I could not stop or continue.
In the last 10 years or so, I visited Urologists out side India and also in Mumbai but to no avail. I did not see any improvement in my urination or the swelling of feet.
By Good luck I had been informed of Dr. Dilip Raja and the confidence he gave me made me to forget the two previous experiments made by the learned doctors on so tender parts.
I took a great risk and gave in to Dr. Dilip Raja performing the delicate surgery. As previously I had experienced no satisfaction.
Today after my surgery and removal of the urine pipe I felt a great sensation to hear the flow of my urine and of course swelling has vanished from my feet.
I owe great gratitude to Dr. Dilip Raja for this wonder miracle I have experienced after 43 years of suffering.
Today I am a very happy person and wish I had been informed of Dr. Dilip Raja very much earlier.

I came to know about him by internet and one of my friend.
My father had one kidney failure due to mass blockage below the kidney. Orissa ( my native place) doctors are stand their hand that the case is very difficult and they can't treat.
Dr. Dilip Raja investigated the case. He operated on my father at Lilavati Hospital. The operation was almost for 11 hours. He contentiously stood their and operated my father's kidney and succeeded and my father recovered in a weeks time.
We specially like his caring nature, sympathy and helpful hand.

Left Adrenelectomy
Dr. Dilip Raja is a very friendly doctor. Felt very comfortable with him.

Not so good exprience

Poorly Functioning Kidney
I had been through a very bad phase.
I got to know about Dr. Dilip Raja (Urologist & Andrologist) through my collegue.
Dr. Dilip Raja actually made me feel confident by saying "nothing has gone wrong kind and you will be fine". The words itself gave me a new ray of hope.
I can say that I got my second life because of Dr. Dilip Raja.

Adenocarcinoma of Prostate
It all started with my personal physician in Kampala, Uganda.
He kept track of the growth of my prostate. When the PSA got to 7.9, he ordered for a biopsy Gleason's score was 3+3=6. He directly contacted Dr. Dilip Raja for an appointment to see me and do something about the cancer cells that were not aggressive yet.
I met Dr. Dilip Raja on March 15, 2010 in Mumbai. His warmth, pleasant personality and quick action inspired my confidence that I was indeed in professional hands.
Dr. Dilip Raja already made arrangements for my admission at the hospital. He carried out preliminary tests and requested for other tests to be done so he could operate on me the following day. This he successfully did in the afternoon of March 16, 2010.
Dr. Dilip Raja ensured that the post surgery services were handled very well. On a daily basis he monitored my progress. His estimated time of recovery from the Radical Surgery he carried out was to the dot.
I agree that Dr. Dilip Raja truly offers personalised care.

Bladder Tumor
It is my pleasant privilege to place on record my personal impression of Dr. Dilip Raja, an expert Urologist under whose care was I directed by my family physician on detection of tumor inside my Bladder.
My first appointment with him was on July 8, 2009 when after few required queries he advised for immediate surgery, which he duly performed on July 15, 2009 in course of which I found that Dr. Dilip Raja is not only a competent surgeon but a committed teacher as well, as I could hear his directions and encouraging remarks to his assistants in the operation.
Ever since, I have had several appointments with him, including six sessions at his own clinic at Waterfield Road, Bandra (W), Mumbai, for Intravesical BCG installation, lasting a month and a half.
His concern for patients and commitment to the profession is reflected in the fact that he never ever failed to fulfill the appointment once given. In course of chemotherapy he made utmost attempt every time to cause minimum of pain in the process, thereby putting me at maximum ease. He would enter into warm, friendly and personal conversation throughout, enhancing the attitude of relaxation on my part.
Dr. Dilip Raja's robust sense of humour helps the healing process as much as his surgical devises. By his genial attitude and generous dose of humour in course of our interaction, he has driven a lot many devils out of me. He has complete clarity and full command over the field he works in, and yet, he has no illusions about his eminence.
Dr. Dilip Raja was frank enough to confess that he is merely an instrument in the hand of Lord who actually cures his patients. In a top corner niche of his clinic in Bandra, are enshrined the deities including a family goddess, whom he offers worship before commencing practice for the day.
Unlike many doctors I know, he never suggests any pathology lab for investigations he prescribes, which speaks of his high ethical attitude to the profession.
Science and technology have made tremendous progress in healing the humanity of its ailments but very few practitioners in the field adhere to the oath that they take while obtaining the degree in medical science.
To the best of my knowledge, Dr. Dilip Raja attempts to translate the ideal into his practice. The rare combination of idealism and realism that Dr. Dilip Raja is, he keeps himself abreast of the advances in his field by attending seminars and conferences in India as well as abroad.
Friendly as well as frank, proficient as well as professional and confident as well as committed, he is deeply dedicated the cause of human healing.
